INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POLICY

MyHouseCleaners — Effective Date: 2026

1. NATURE OF OUR PLATFORM

MyHouseCleaners operates as a home cleaning
coordination platform. We connect clients
seeking professional cleaning services with
independent cleaning professionals in their
area. MyHouseCleaners is not a cleaning
company and does not employ cleaning
professionals directly.

2. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUS

All cleaning professionals connected through
MyHouseCleaners are independent contractors.
They are not employees, agents, or
representatives of MyHouseCleaners. Each
cleaning professional operates their own
independent business and is solely
responsible for the services they provide.

As independent contractors, cleaning
professionals determine how they perform
their work. MyHouseCleaners coordinates
the booking, confirms the appointment
scope, and facilitates payment — but does
not supervise, direct, or control the
manner in which cleaning services are
delivered.

3. VETTING PROCESS

Before being accepted into the
MyHouseCleaners network, every cleaning
professional must successfully complete
the following:

— A detailed application covering
experience, availability, and
professional background

— Verification of a minimum of two
professional or personal references

— A criminal background check conducted
by an approved third party screening
provider

— Proof of valid personal liability
insurance with a minimum coverage
of $1,000,000

— A supervised trial clean assessed
against our quality standards before
the first client assignment

Only professionals who successfully
complete every step of this process
are admitted to our network.

4. INSURANCE

Every cleaning professional in the
MyHouseCleaners network is required
to carry and maintain their own
personal liability insurance.
MyHouseCleaners does not carry
liability insurance covering the
work performed by independent
contractors at client properties.

Clients are strongly encouraged to
secure all valuables, cash,
irreplaceable items, and sensitive
documents before any cleaning
appointment.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

MyHouseCleaners acts solely as a
coordinator and platform operator.
We accept no liability for:

— Property damage caused by
independent contractors

— Theft or loss occurring during
a cleaning appointment

— Personal injury occurring at
the client property

— Unsatisfactory cleaning outcomes

— Failure of a contractor to attend
a confirmed appointment

Any claims arising from cleaning
services should be directed to the
independent contractor and their
personal liability insurer.

6. DISPUTE FACILITATION

While MyHouseCleaners does not accept
liability for contractor work, we will
make reasonable efforts to facilitate
communication between clients and
contractors in the event of a dispute.
Disputes must be reported within
24 hours of service completion.
